Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information CovForLife collects through covforlife.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to this website and to the email and text message updates you can sign up for here.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form: your name, email address, an optional subject and your message.
- Sign-up form: your name, email address, an optional mobile phone number, and whether you checked the text message consent box and the terms consent box.
Information recorded with a submission
When you submit a form, we also record your IP address, basic browser details (the user agent your browser reports), the page the form was sent from, and the date and time of submission. We keep these details to help prevent spam and abuse and to maintain an accurate record of any consent you gave.
Server logs
Like most websites, the server that hosts covforlife.com may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, pages requested, browser type and the time of each request. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use information
- To respond to messages you send us.
- To send the email updates you asked for, and text messages if you opted in to receive them.
- To keep a record of your consent and of any request to stop receiving messages.
- To protect the website and our forms against spam, fraud and abuse.
- To comply with applicable law.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We may use service providers, such as our website host and an email or text message delivery service, to operate the site and send the messages you requested. They may process information only on our behalf and for those purposes. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of CovForLife, our visitors or others.
Mobile information and text messages
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Information about our text message program, including how to opt out, is in our Mobile Policy.
Third-party services and cookies
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those fonts, it connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and basic browser information as part of that request. Google’s use of that information is governed by Google’s own privacy policy.
We do not use advertising trackers, social media pixels or analytics cookies. The site does not set cookies for advertising or tracking purposes.
How long we keep information
We keep contact messages for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep sign-up records while you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward as a record of consent. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we may keep a minimal record of that request so we can honor it.

Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including storing form submissions outside the publicly accessible part of our web server. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, account numbers or health details through our forms.
